Apple Inc. – Product Design Intern

  • Performed failure analysis and improved manufacturing process for Apple Watch 2022 Release at final assembly, test, and pack-out (FATP) factory, coordinated with relevant cross-functional teams for the best course of action

  • Built a new method of measuring surface energy using mathematical modeling and shortened FA process; uses MATLAB to estimate water contact angle with vertical reading only

20/20 Aerial Solutions, LLC – Founder & CEO

  • Retrofitted a thermal camera on a quadcopter and started a business using the infrared sensor data to detect malfunctions in solar panels

  • Led inspections for nearly 6,000 large solar panels with a total power capacity of 1500 kW, locating defects that achieved 200,000+ kWh annual energy savings

Research Experience

General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Laboratory – Summer Research Intern

  • Currently starting work on NASA's Lunar Surface Technology Research project, focusing on system architecture design to improve lunar exploration.

  • Started the micro locomotion project using SMA wires to simulate four-legged movement, researching and experimenting with different materials and viscosity of the environment

  • Produced 50’ long Nylon/Delrin spiral zippers for the Variable Topology Truss (VTT) project to help with testing and further research and development

  • Assembled 11 robots for the National Science Foundation CISE Research Infrastructure and optimized the assembly process and improved the documentation for easier interpretation

California Institute of Technology – Burdick Research Group

  • Optimized drone design for NASA JPL Martian Helicopter Manipulation Project to be able to pick up and deposit a sensor pod on steep Martian surfaces; started the load cell project for CG and vibration testing.

  • Team CoSTAR, participant of Subterranean (SubT) Challenge sponsored by The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), developing new technologies to map, navigate and communicate underground and search for and identify objects in time-sensitive, high-pressure settings

  • Designed and optimized different hardware components on three vehicles, including the main vehicle Balto, the Drivocopter, as well as the diesel-powered quadcopter

Penn Electric Racing – Mechanical Team Member

  • Designed a new pedal box system for the REV8 model, enhancing brake and accel travel by 20% for improved driver comfort; Optimized for accessibility and adjustability to achieve a reduction of 5x in installation time, accommodating driver changes of various heights during Endurance

  • Prototyped, manufactured, and tested a dynamometer to test brake and motor performance

Wharton Undergraduate Aerospace Club – Founding Member, Head of Sponsorships
